Volgens mij is dit aan de 's-Gravendeelsedijk, net ten zuiden van de afslag naar de Zuidendijk, en kijken we naar het noordwesten, precies waar het Mallegat toen begon. Op beeldbank.cultureelerfgoed.nl is dit te vinden op MIN08032A01, Gem. De Mijl, sectie A, blad 2, perceel 67 (daar staan de huizen op) en 68 (het erf waar we overheen kijken). De OAT (OAT08032A002) suggereert dat dit erf in gebruik was om o.a. zout over te slaan ten behoeve van de zoutketen aan de andere kant van de dijk. Of dit ca. 30-40 jaar later toen de foto werd gemaakt ook zo was, is natuurlijk allerminst zeker.
