Oorspronkelijk een buitenplaats welke reeds in 1673 op een kaart van Mattheus van Nispen voorkomt. De boerderij was vóór 1810 deel van de buitenplaats, In 1883 werd de bestaande boerderij gebouwd op de plaats van de in 1882 afgebrande boerderij. in 1889 werd de Fam. Molendijk eigenaar van de hoeve, na 1908 Fa. Herweijer, na 1983 Johannes Voshart. In 2006 werd de hoeve verkocht en op de landerijen werd de nieuwe woonwijk "De Hoven" gebouwd. In de oorlog van 1940/45 was er in de kelder van de hoeve een ruimte vrijgemaakt voor onderduikers. Vroeger was de toegang naar de hoeve vanaf de Prov.weg via een lange oprijlaan.
