Uit de krant van 8-3-1935: "De Groentenhandel P. W. van Holten in de Lange Breestraat viert dezer dagen een 25-jarig zakenjubileum. Voor de attractie, die daaraan verbonden is verwijzen wij naar de desbetreffende advertentie in dit blad." Na de oorlog verhuisde hij voor een klein jaartje naar de Schotelstraat 32. Toen naar zijn schoonmoeder in de Kleine Spuistraat 9rd en vandaar in 1948 samen met vrouw en schoonmoeder naar de Eben Haezerhof 20bov. Ik heb het vermoeden dat hij zakelijk gezien de oorlogsjaren niet goed heeft doorstaan. In 1964 verhuisde hij met zijn vrouw naar verpleegtehuis "Crabbehof", Groen van Prinstererweg 38. Peter Willem werd 84 jaar en overleed op 03-09-1971.
