Ik neem aan dat de woningen rechts achteraan op deze foto worden aangezien als woningen aan de Van Baerlestraat. Deze 2 blokken (nrs 13-73) aan de NW-zijde van de Hoofstraat zijn in 1935 gebouwd. Het voorliggende blokje (in de zelfde stijl van nrs 13-73) van 3 woningen (nrs 7-11) is hier ook nog niet gebouwd, daar beginnen ze pas in 1936 aan. Het daarop aansluitende blok in een soort van 'U', met één korte en één lange poot en alles in de zelfde stijl, bevatten de woningen aan de Hooftstraat nrs 1-5, het eerste deel van de Van Baerlestraat en de tussen liggende woningen aan de Krispijnseweg, ook met de bouw hiervan werd in 1936 gestart. Met de bouw van het daarop volgende blok in de Van Baerlestraat vanaf nr 20 werd in 1937 aangevangen. De datering van deze foto is dus ook wat nauwkeuriger te stellen naar periode 1935-1936. Over het eerste stukje van de Van Baerlestraat valt nog iets over de huisnummering etc. te vermelden maar daarvoor kijkt u maar op 554_31639.
