De watertoren stond ongeveer rechttegenover Rijsdijk. De kabelfabriek was er toen nog niet. Wel zie je de gashouder van de zuurstoffabriek staan.De rivier is de Noord.
Gebouwd in 1905 en een aantal jaren geleden gesloopt wegens bouwvalligheid. De 30 m hoge toren had een ijzeren reservoir met een inhoud van 250 kubieke meter.

Ik denk eerder dat dit t.h.v. de scheepswerf Jonker & Stans is dan bij Frans Rijsdijk gezien de plaats van de watertoren.
De bok ligt bij een werf/bedrijf in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht en aan de overzijde zien we de watertoren van Alblasserdam. De rivier is dus de Noord
