Door den eerwaarden breeden kerkeraad der Nederduitsche Hervormde gemeente binnen deze stad, zijn eergisteren ter vervulling eener predikantsplaats, vacant geworden door het overlijden van den weleerwaarden heer G. van Kooten, uit een voorafgaand gros van predikanten, op het twaalftal gebragt: DD. W.B. Veder, theol. doct. en pred. te Zutphen, C. Krabbe, pred. te Zutphen; F. G. H. van Iterson , pred. te Arnhem; G. J. Wijnaendts, pred. te Warnsveld; E. A. Brunner, pred. te Oude-Wetering; C. Klant, pred. te Warder; B. Rienstra, theol. doct. en pred. te 's-Gravendeel; H. M. C. van Oosterzee, pred. te Elkerzee; H.M. van Loon, pred. te Koorndijk; H. van der Leeuw, pred. te Delft; J. Wigeri Aberson, pred. te Lage-Zwaluwe, en J. E. de Voogt, pred. te Nijmegen, met het lot tegen M. A. Vos Uiterlimmige, pred. te Well en Amezoden. Vervolgens zijn daaruit gebragt op het zestal: W. R.
