Gelijkertijd blijkt op kaart 15 uit 1572 van het boek 'kopperprent 1990' de situatie gewijzigd. De kerk staat hier niet meer op aangegeven maar wel het vierkante Bagijnhof. Dit zou het verhaal wat C.J.P. Lips op blz. 434 beschrijft t.a.v. de bouw van het Bagijnhof en de sloop van deze kerk rond 1600 kunnen bevestigen.
Die steunberen zijn echt opvallend. Overigens hoeven die niet direct op de kerk te wijzen. Zie bijv. het Hof, waar ooit ook een 'Trans' was waarvan nog altijd een klein stukje bewaard is, (ooit) ook daar zijn/waren steunberen die later wel vernieuwd zijn maar rondom het plein bij de grond nog overal te zien zijn. Ik denk dat hier op dezelfde manier als het Hof in de vroege 17e eeuw gebruik is gemaakt van bestaande gebouwen die daarmee het grondplan bepaalden en mogelijk hier en daar ook nog gewoon zichtbaar hergebruikt zijn.
Mogelijk toch nog restanten van het middeleeuwse Begijnhof??
