Daarom schreef ik al eerder "Door de positie van het huis is het ook niet te verwarren met de buitenplaats "Sorghlust" bij Bottleworks." Eerder noemde ik al 555_11878, maar ik denk dat 552_760075 het nóg beter laat zien, maar ook 555_16277.
De tent op de voorgrond is volgens mij een woonark of een rondvaartboot of iets dergelijks liggende in de Oude Keetshaven/Oostkeetshaven. Vroeger werd er in de scheepvaart vaak linnen/zeildoek gespannen over de leefruimtes voor het weren van de zon. Op deze foto heeft er links van het Howard gebouw nog geen uitbreiding plaats gevonden. Uiterst links het torenachtig bouwwerk van Howard aan het water, op 555_11878 te zien, links van het grote gebouw. Een vanaf de rivier beeldbepalend fabriekspand behorende bij de schoorsteen achter de bolvormige kruin van de grote boom is om die reden vanaf hier niet te zien.
Ik ken een foto van molen Langzigt (niet in Beeldbank) met de glashut en Howard & Co daarachter (voor allerlei uitbreidingen) waarop Howard er erg goed op lijkt. Maar bijv. het huis helemaal rechts met de vier schoorstenen op de hoeken kan ik nog niet thuisbrengen, ook wegens gebrek aan kennis van mijn kant en foto's van Zwijndrecht.

Het hoge gebouw links is dan de rijstpellerij Howard & Co, rechts direct naast/achter de bomen de bovenkant van de 'glashut' die bij molen Landzigt stond (die zelf al weg of buiten beeld is). De opname is dan ergens vanuit het noorden, de omgeving van het Veerplein? naar het zuiden gemaakt. Opname 552_405743 geeft dezelfde situatie vanuit het zuiden weer.
Een plek in Dordt is nog niet komen bovendrijven...
Ik kan hem nog niet thuisbrengen, hopelijk is het wel in Dordt?
