=================================================================== Ongeveer ten tijde van deze foto, in 1933 dus raakte P. de Klerk, een smid, zijn smederij in de Hoge Bakstraat 8 kwijt vanwege een faillissement. Het toeval deed zich voor dat het jaar erop Jacob Korpershoek de man staand 3e van links, een smederij begon in de Lage Bakstraat. In de loop der jaren kreeg hij steeds meer panden in de Lage,- maar ook de Hoge Bakstraat in zijn bezit. Nieuwpoort werd in 1937 aanbesteed de bouw van een woonhuis aan de Merwesingel, (Sliedrecht) voor rekening van J. J. Moolhuisen. Louisa Hoeve op de hoek van de Piet Heinstraat.
