Lips volgend is de afbeelding dus in 1553 gemaakt door Jan Terwen, en in 1600 (of 1603 volgens Lips) verplaatst naar de munterskapel. Jensma meldt in zijn boek over de Grote Kerk uit 1987 (p.44) dat het hek in 1675 vervangen is, maar dat de munters de afbeelding met het H.Graf herplaatst hebben aan de binnenkant van de deur. Mogelijk hebben de tekstpanelen dezelfde weg afgelegd? Overigens heeft Balen die vervanging van het hek in 1675 dan dus nog juist kunnen meekrijgen, maar mogelijk was dat al niet meer op tijd voor de uitgave van zijn grote werk.
