Het is een bouwhistorisch artikel uit Delft en gaat over een pand dat daar helaas in 1982 afgebroken is. Vooraf had een student er gelukkig wel uitvoerig bouwhistorisch onderzoek verricht. Het bleek om een uiterst waardevol pand te gaan waarin ooit een klandermolen gevestigd was. De Dordtse gevelsteen wordt als illustratie getoond en daarnaast ook nog een andere prent die een soortgelijk mechaniek laat zien. Het frappante hierbij is dat ditzelfde pand naar aanleiding van dat bouwhistorische onderzoek enige tijd een serieuze kandidaat is geweest als het huis afgebeeld in 'Het straatje' van Johannes Vermeer. Inmiddels lijkt dat niet meer te kloppen.
