Er volgde een opsomming van aankopen en schenkingen, o.a. ook door het gemeentebestuur welke een aantal voorwerpen ter opname en bewaring ter beschikking stelde. Èèn van de aangekochte voorwerpen, als volgt omschreven: "Aangekocht werd een fraai geconserveerde gevelsteen met opschrift: "in de vergulde lamppet", vroeger aanwezig aan een huis in de Kolfstraat, nabij de " vergulde", thans "Nieuwe Lamppetsteeg". Hier, maar ook bij andere afbeeldingen (552_322155) is te lezen dat de gevelsteen afkomstig is van het pand gemerkt C 1589. Dit pand zou geofferd zijn vanwege de verbreding van de Vergulde Lampetsteeg en zou zich hebben bevonden op de hoek Vergulde Lampetsteeg en Kolkstraat (Kolfstraat). In 1854, vóór de verbreding, bevonden zich de panden 1576 t/m 1591 in het stukje Dwarsgang tot de Vergulde Lampetsteeg. Wanneer ik een kaart van 1849 [1100_215001] vergelijk met een kaart van 1923 [552_195121-033] denk ik dat in ieder geval de panden 1590 en 1591 voor de verbreding zijn geofferd. Dus komt naar mijn idee de gevelsteen niet van C 1589 maar van C 1591. Dus daar waar vóór 1856 C1591 het hoekhuis was, was C1589 dat ná 1856, het jaar dat de verbreding van de steeg werd voltooid en de steeg hernoemd werd naar "Nieuwe Lampetsteeg". Het werd zelfs in 1856 nog door de Gemeente Dordrecht, samen met het achtergelegen pakhuisje, grenzend aan de Nieuwe Lampetsteeg en Kromme Elleboog, te koop aangeboden in de krant van 21-02-1856, daarbij wordt het woord "amotie" niet gebezigd. Zo maar een gedachte en vaststelling van mijn kant, maar of die juist is?
