Mijn vader Adriaan Kriens heeft NR.138.142.144 en 146 gekocht in 1952 . op de koopacte stond Vriesestraat en geen broodgang. Vanaf dat moment was DE FRUITKAMPIOEN daar gevestigd tot 1998 toen heb ik het hele spul verkocht.
Huisnummer 146 is het huidige koffiehuis Koning. De prachtige gevelpui is nog ongewijzigd. Links daarvan is de gang afgesloten met een doorzichtige gietijzeren hekwerk. De naam Broodgang is hier echter niet terug te vinden.
