Deze hofstede was één van de drie hofsteden die werden gebouwd na de inpoldering van de Bettewaardepolder in 1614. Zij was gelegen in het eerste perceel van de polder Bettewaarde. De Blinkende Panhoeve was in 1832 één van de zes grootste hofsteden van Nieuwerkerk. Nummering 1818-1850: A 112, vanaf 1850: A 182, vanaf 1910: B 47; vanaf 1930: B 58. Huidig adres: Bettewaardsedijk 8 (vanaf 1961 behorend tot Zierikzee). Vanaf 1956 werd de hofstede bewoond door schoonzoon Johannes Pieter Willem Cornelis Stols (1922-2017), zoon van Jacobus Johannus Stols en Levina Janna van Putte van de hofstede Windenburg, die in 1949 gehuwd was met Marina Cornelia Delst (1926-1981). Zij woonden aanvankelijk op Windenburg, dat hun eigendom bleef. Vanaf 1963 was hij ook eigenaar van De Blinkende Panhoeve. Hij verhuisde in 1983 naar Brouwershaven. ................ Vanaf 1922 was bewoner en – met een lening van fl. 20.000,- van de vorige eigenaar Vredenrijk Geluk – tevens eigenaar Joost DELST (1895-1986), zoon van Daniël Delst en Tanna Hermina der Weduwen van de hofstede Kijkuit te Zonnemaire, die in 1922 huwde met Cornelia Pietertje Koopman (1899-1986), dochter van Cornelis Koopman en Marina Cornelia van der Have van de hofstede Bouwlust in de Gouweveerpolder.
