Heysterbach, Dordrecht, Dubbeldam, IJselmonde, Zwijndrecht, Kijfshoeck, Meerdervoort en Rijsoord. De naam voor H.I.A., 'Heynrickyen Ambacht' vind ik online niet terug. Lees ik het verkeerd? En waar vind ik het jaartal 1540? (Deborah Paalman). Volbrand Kercke vind ik ook niet, wél Wolbrandkerke. Ten zuiden van de monding van de Dubbel(t?) onder Dordrecht lijkt te staan'Schuttinge genaamt Dubbeldam'. Is daar dan een sluis? Verspreid over de kaart zie je balkjes in verschillende lengtes met zijribben eraan getekend. Wat wordt daar mee aangegeven? Na bewerking werd het bestand verkleind naar 82,3 MB, maar blijft een flink bestand dus.
Nog even zodat iedereen hetzelfde doet; je moet deze afbeelding niet aanklikken op het plaatje zelf (wat inderdaad bij de meeste afbeeldingen op deze Beeldbank prima lukt), want dan krijg je een vrij onscherp resultaat. Neen; druk op het lichtgroene "downloaden" iets daaronder. Dan krijg je een afbeelding die je kan bekijken of opslaan en die toch aardig scherp is... ik zie niet alleen "Rotterdam" staan, maar ik zie de individuele panden in die stad en de ruitjes in het kerkraam...
Ik heb in een fotobewerkingsprogramma het contrast verhoogd en nog wat kleurinstellingen veranderd. Nu kan ik, na zéér ver inzoomen (het is inderdaad een grote kaart) helemaal linksboven duidelijk lezen: 'Rotterdam' met een vlek op 'am' , aan de andere kant van de Maas: 'catendrecht' en wat verder naar het oosten: 'Schielant' en 'alblasserdam' enzovoort. Hopelijk hebt u hier iets aan.
Misschien heeft uw computer er moeite mee; soms helpt t om even te wachten, maar misschien lukt t gewoon niet. Ook wil het in sommige gevallen nog wel eens helpen om m te openen via andere programma's (hopelijk wordt dit niet te technisch), dus "openen met" ... Paint,of Window Photo Viewer, of Photoshop, etc. etc
Als ik deze kaart download dan ontvang ik een reuzenbestand van 150MB Echter, als ik het bestand open is de resolutie zo slecht dat er nauwelijks iets op de kaart te herkennen valt. Is er iets fout gegaan? M.v.g. Hans Terlouw
