Je ziet dit dus vanuit de Vleeshouwerssteeg die naar het Buddingh'Plein voert. Helaas zijn de stoeltjes weg, maar het rooster is er nog. Inclusief de lichter gekleurde steen naast het rooster waar Jan het over had. Het rechtse pand, gedeeltelijk zichtbaar met de auto ervoor, is Vleeshouwerstraat 6. Vervolgens verder van rechts naar links de nummers: 10, 14 en als laatste het pand met de nrs 16 t/m 24. De nrs 8 en 12 zijn er niet meer. (Opgeslokt door 6 en 14). Ben er vanmiddag nog even wezen kijken en heb er nog wat foto's gemaakt.

Het is echter tegelijkertijd ietsje lager.. omdat de camera precies op het goede (of foute, 't is maar hoe je het bekijkt) punt staat, lijkt het alsof beide goten even hoog zitten...maar dat is dus vertekening! Op de andere genoemde foto is het 'rietenstoelen'-huis al afgebroken (de zijmuur uitgezonderd), en is de situatie beter in te schatten: doordat de zijramen van het 'rooster'-huis net iets hoger zaten dan de goot van de buren hebben zij dus nooit hun functie (lucht en licht toelaten) verloren, maar ze zullen ook niet veel uitzicht hebben gegeven (de dakpannen van de buren).
De goten lijken op gelijke hoogte te zitten. Dan begrijp ik de aanwezigheid van de ramen in de zijgevel niet. Dus de ramen in de zijgevel vlak onder de goot van de woning met het rooster. Intussen herken ik i.i.g. wel de ramen en muurankers van de op deze afbeelding kleinst lijkende woning op de afbeelding die Ad eerder ter vergelijking (en jij nu ook) aangaf ter vergelijking.
