Het café is van Wichert (Wicker) de Goede (zonder n), Varkenmarkt 15. In mei 1906 vroeg hij verlof aan voor de verkoop van alcoholhoudende drank, anderen dan sterke drank. Eerder, op 15-11-1894 trad hij op 32 jarige leeftijd in in het huwelijk met Lijntje Bouman in haar geboorteplaats Nieuw-Beijerland. Op dat moment woonde hij al in Dordrecht in de Hoge Bakstraat 17 volgens het AB van 1893 was hij varensgezel van beroep. De in 1862 te Hoogezand geboren Wichert overleed op 7 oktober 1939 op 76-jarige leeftijd te Dordrecht. Lijntje overleed op 21-11-1944, ook te Dordrecht. Het pand, links op beide foto's, zie je ook in onbewoonbare toestand op 555_12476, 555_12471 en 552_761146. Het volgende pand, "Streefkerck"genaamd, op nummer 13, werd op 24 augustus 1937 onbewoonbaar verklaard. Bij de sloop van deze twee panden werd de gevelsteen (zie 555_12472) veilig gesteld en kreeg het een nieuwe bestemming in de gevel van Knolhaven 9-12 (zie 552_322230) van het achtergelegen pand wat in 1938 werd opgetrokken. De percelen van de twee hier op de Varkenmarkt gesloopte panden vervielen aan het in 1938 gebouwde pand aan de Knolhaven.
