"WIJZIGING IN ZAKEN. Joh. de Korte, handel in kaas en kruidenierswaren, Vondelstraat 1, Dordrecht. Zaak verplaatst naar Papeterspad 18." (https://proxy.archieven.nl/46/FBBEF456CEF0415296ECF2A88B6EBA1B) Het woonhuis was dan op nummer 3.
De woning was in het adresboek als eerst gekend in Wijk E, Spuiweg No. 954. De eerste bewoner/spoorwachter die ik kan vinden is de op 5-2-1845 in Ommen geboren Arie Anton Smal, maar die was er niet vanaf het eerste uur. 22-6-1872 trouwde hij in Steenwijkerwold met de in Amsterdam geboren Hendrica Maria van Rooij. In Weststellingwerf werd de geboorte van hun zoon Mathijs op 16-4-1874 aangegeven. Ook dochter Johanna Maria werd daar nog op 8-12-1875 geboren, maar zij overleed op 2 jarige leeftijd op 12-2-1878 in Dordrecht, Hil D 540, in, (volgens een aantekening in een adresboek van 1854) het van oudsher genoemde 'Het Fort" wat de nummers D 536 tot D 540 betrof (Kad. H 247). In het adresboek van 1879 is er alleen nog sprake van D 536 tot D 539 en zien we A.A. Smal terug op E 954, het huisje hier op de foto aan de Spuiweg, zijn buren zijn op E 953 Buitenplaats "Wei-Zicht" en op E 955 Korenmolen de "Oranjeboom". Er zijn dan al 7 jaren verstreken sinds de gereedkoming van het station. Met de omnummering in 1884 werd het Spuiweg 92 zwart en per 11-12-1917 werd dit stukje Spuiweg Krispijnscheweg genoemd en werd het huisnummer 2zw. Op 15-12-1965 gewijzigd in van Baerlestraat 20 om het vervolgens op 1-1-1966 Van Baerleplantsoen 20 te laten zijn. Op b.v. 552_326191 zie je het huisje vanaf de andere kant, maar er zijn nog genoeg andere foto's hier te vinden. Het is vermoed ik in 1992 gesloopt. Teunis in 't Veld, ploegbaas bij de spoorwegen trok er volgens Dordtenazoeker op 1-2-1932 in en verbleef daar tot 10-7-1950 met zijn gezin. Zijn zoon Ton schrijft over zijn herinneringen en die van zijn broer tijdens de oorlog op de FB Pagina "’t Dordrecht van toen — Geschiedenis van een eiland".
