De nog niet gebouwde woningen in het hier zichtbare deel van de verlengde Lombardstraat hebben 1935 als bouwjaar. Verder staat er in de rand van het origineel 556_1168 "Lombardstraat 17". Het lijkt er dus inderdaad op dat de totstandkoming van de foto betrekking heeft op datgene wat Angenetha Balm-Kok aanhaalt. Verder vond ik niet zoveel over dit pand, eigenlijk alleen het onderstaande. Dordrechtsche Courant, 21-8-1889: "KENNISGEVING. VERGUNNING tot OPRICHTING van eene slachterij. De BURGEGEMEESTER en WETHOUDERS van DORDRECHT, gelet op art. 8 der Wet van den 2 Juni 1875 (Staatsblad N0. 95); brengen ter algemeene kennis: dat op heden aan G. F. BRAUN en zijne rechtverkrijgenden vergunning is verleend tot oprichting van eene slachterij, in het pand aan de Lombardstraat n°. 15 alhier, Kadastraal bekend onder n°. 36 van sectie H. Dordrecht, den 19 Augustus 1889. De Burgemeester enz enz."
