Pak de kaart er maar bij van 1923 en b.v. de luchtfoto's 552_320776, 552_406202, 552_405425 en 552_350162 die een aardig beeld geven van de situatie en waarbij enkele de Nieuwe Binnenhof en schoorsteen zichtbaar zijn. De Nieuwe Binnenhof werd vlak voordat het op 10-12-1931 geveild zou worden, uit de hand verkocht, inclusief Hellingen 70 (winkel- en woonhuis) waar we hier wat puin voor zien liggen. Op het pandje rechts ervan zie je het nummerbordje met het nr. 72. De na de sloop ontstane ruimte werd door Van Der Kloet gebruikt voor de handel in houtvezelplaten van het merk "Lumbolite", een Zweeds product waarvoor zij voor een groot deel van Nederland het dealerschap verwierven. (zie mijn commentaar bij 552_390571-009). Wanneer je naar de kaart van 1923 kijkt en weet dat de doorgang van de Scheepsmakershof nummer 46 heeft, is het makkelijk doortellen naar waar we hier op de foto naar staan te kijken. Dus ook met name je eerste commentaar op 552_200059 past hier helemaal bij.
