Maar op 552_302530 het overtuigende bewijs, waar je rechts van de kweekschool de Binnen Walevest inkijkt, inclusief het houten hek wat op 552_701111 rechts zo duidelijk is te zien. Het is wel zo dat we hier de inkijk niet volledig in beeld hebben, daarvoor zouden we als kijker wat meer naar rechts moeten bewegen en dan pas zouden we ook de bollekes van Pim op hunne schouders kunnen ontwaren.
Maar waar dat dit precies was? We komen dichterbij!
I.i.g. niet het plekje op de Wolwevershaven wat ik eerder dacht. Even zoeken nog. Misschien Varkenmarkt?
Het zou Joost Hooimeijer kunnen zijn die een bode-dienst onderhield naar H.I. Ambacht en volgens het AB van 1906, dagelijks, behalve op donderdag, vertrok vanaf de Blauwpoort. Op de zijkant van het rijtuig een reclame-uiting van Cornelis of van zijn zoon Roelof Gort. Begonnen aan de Voorstraat 357, later 336 en uiteindelijk 324. Cornelis (22-10-1855 - 6-8-1913) was dus van de tapijten en hield zich bezig met het kloppen, leggen en reinigen ervan. Maar ook tafelkleden waren hem niet vreemd. Het bedrijf werd na het overlijden van Cornelis in 1913 voortgezet door Roelof Gort Cz. Roelof breidde het aanbod verder uit met een (scheeps)stoffeerderij en behangerij maar bleef de tapijten trouw. Waar dit plaatje geschoten is weet ik niet. Ik moest wel in 1e instantie aan de binnenplaats van Schless aan de Wolwevershaven denken. In het AB van 1919 zie ik dat daar dus eerder Expeditiekantoor Bouman gevestigd was.
