Overigens had ik geen gelijk met mijn eerdere opmerking dat deze een deel van 552_325267 zou zijn. Deze (en 552_701146) loopt verder naar links door. Er zou dus een origineel moeten zijn waaruit deze alle drie 'geknipt' zijn.
Heel bijzondere opname want het geeft ons een blik in een ander tijdperk. Goed te zien hier vooraan de eerste generatie bebouwing van de buitengebieden van de stad voor de uitbreidingen laat in de negentiende eeuw: tuinen met houten tuinhuizen, theekoepels en schuttingen, een heel specifiek type bebouwing voor de gegoede burgerij. Restanten daarvan waren nog tot kort na de oorlog nog te zien. Mogelijk is Singel 43 daarvan nog over (zie Pims commentaar bij 552_324410). Het grote losstaande pand in het midden heeft het nog lang volgehouden en is pas in de jaren tachtig verdwenen. Spijtig als spaarzaam overblijfsel van voor de stadsuitbreidingen.
