In het pand links op de hoek zat inderdaad vanaf 1994-95 tot 2005 een antiquariaat, van mijn vader: Boekhandel-Antiquariaat J.P. van den Tol. Boven was het woonhuis, ik heb er ook een aantal jaar gewoond en ken het pand goed. Binnen is het een allegaartje van verbouwingen door de jaren heen. Op deze foto zijn 2 dakkapellen te zien, die zijn er niet meer. Op de zolder, deze heeft nog de originele balkenconstructie, wel eens het vermoeden gehad dat het ooit twee huizen waren, samengevoegd met een nieuwe facade. Vanuit de dakgoot achter die facade overigens een erg mooi uitzicht over de stad.

Dit is dus nog net voor het eerste pand links, net na de brug, werd vervangen (of hoogst waarschijnlijk enkel de gevel werd opgedirkt). Vergelijk met inv.nr 551_55037, ook uit de jaren '60 van de 19e eeuw, waar de nieuwe facade kennelijk net is opgeleverd. In dit pand zat de antiquariaat, en komt mogelijk een restaurant/hotel.
