En rechts daarachter ook een rijtje eengezinswoningen. Deze staan aan de Beekmanstraat. Het is de enige situatie in de Verzetsbuurt waarin twee rijtjes eengezinswoningen zo dicht naast elkaar liggen !
Het klopt dat achterin de Beekmanstraat een pleintje lag, het Giessenplein. Dat dit wel degelijk de Beinemastraat is blijkt uit het volgende. De flat in de Schiestraat waren het eerste klaar, toen volgde de Dubbelstraat (te zien op de foto) en als laatste de Giessenstraat. Verder het meest overtuigende bewijs, de lichtval ! Kortom geen twijfel mogelijk: dit is de Beinemastraat met de twee flats in de Schiestraat en die van de Dubbelstraat in aanbouw.
Dus geen 1958 zoals ik lees !
