T.w. Sportterrein Straatweg, De oudste van de drie waarvan het 1e veld aan de Glazenstraat lag. Dit was een zeer slecht terrein waar geregeld wedstrijden werden afgekeurd. Hier was dan o.a. ook het Gloria veld gelegen. Het tweede is sportterrein Zeehavenlaan en het derde is het sportterrein Zuidendijk.
De terreinen aan de Crabbeweg, waar Fluks en Geluksvogels kwamen te spelen, lagen ingeklemd tussen de Zeehavenlaan en Crabbeweg, Straatweg en Zuidendijk. Dit terrein van 5 HA kwam na overleg met de particulieren eigenaren per 1 januari 1935 ter beschikking van het DVB bestuur en de vier velden kwamen in augustus 1935 gereed. Wanneer men hier bij verschillende afbeeldingen schrijft over sportterreinen aan de Straatweg, dacht ik automatisch dat het om dit terrein ging. Maar dat blijkt dus niet zo te zijn en bestond er dus minstens NOG één sportterrein ergens aan de Straatweg waar o.a. R.C.D. is begonnen. Ad weet dit vast wel! :) Deze afbeelding is van een jaar eerder. Dus of de datering van de afbeelding is niet juist of de locatiebeschrijving (wat je zelf al aangaf) is niet juist.
Alleen zou ik dan nog wel 'Kluksvoetbalveld' veranderen in 'Fluksvoetbalveld'.
