Serie bestaande uit drie blokken industriehallen die rug-aan-rug gekoppeld en per twee geschakeld zijn. In totaal zijn het twaalf van oorsprong identieke hallen van 24 x 16 meter. Gevel en constructie vallen samen en zijn geheel uit geprefabriceerde schokbetonnen elementen opgebouwd. De van oorsprong in onbehandeld beton afgewerkt gevels (nu voorzien van een verflaag) hebben een wiebertjes-patroon in de gevelpanelen. De hallen worden overspannen door zogenaamde Belgische spanten. Vaak werden deze in staal uitgevoerd, maar hier is ook dit onderdeel van beton. Aan de voorzijde van de hallen, ter weerszijden van de centrale toegangsdeuren, liggen kleine kantoorruimten. Het dak bestaat uit panelen met veel voorkomende cassette-indeling en in de top van oorsprong draadglazen panelen voor het benodigde daglicht. Aan het herstel van handel en industrie werd na de oorlog hoge prioriteit gegeven. De getroffen bedrijven moesten zo snel weer aan de slag en daarvoor was huisvesting van het allergrootste belang. Met behulp van een stimuleringsprogramma van het Rijk schoot de gemeente ondernemers te hulp door deze universele industriehallen aan te bieden. De drie paar industriehallen uit 1949-1950 zijn het vroegste voorbeeld van door de gemeente gerealiseerde prefabbouw, die door Gemeentewerken ook op andere plekken in de Binckhorst zou worden toegepast. De industriehallen zijn van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde omdat het de vroegste door de gemeente gerealiseerde prefabbouw is ten behoeve van het herstel van handel en industrie na de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Tevens van architectuurhistorische waarde als representatieve voorbeelden van goed gedetailleerde betonnen industriebouw uit de wederopbouwperiode.
