In 1829 bijvoorbeeld, werd het als volgt te koop aangeboden: .... van het onlangs nieuw opgebouwde LOGEMENT en UITSPANNING, staande en gelegen te Willemsdorp, gemeente Wieldrecht, aan het Stoombooten-Veer; zijnde voorzien van alles wat voor een groot Logement behoort, en volkomen ingerigt tot het geven van Maaltijden en andere Partijen. ..... Prins Willem II kwam daar op 27 oktober 1830 en verbleef er 4 dagen. In 1830 was Franciscus Storijmans de logementhouder/ herbergier en ook toen had het al de naam Waterloo. In een krant van 1836 blijkt M. de Korver de logementhouder te zijn, waarschijnlijk de vader van de eerder genoemde C.E. de Korver wiens naam ik in een krant van 1888 tegenkom. Diverse generaties De Korver exploiteerden meer dan een eeuw "Waterloo", Zie ook de foto linksonder op 552_131337 en 552_351936, dat moet ongeveer ter hoogte van Rijksstraatweg 186 zijn geweest?
De naam uitspanning doet het wel vermoeden. Ook de locatie is me niet helemaal duidelijk, Lijkt er op dat het op het parkeerterreintje was, tegenover waar vroeger de Blokhut stond
