Hij woonde aan de Rijksstraatweg E287 (65) en w.s. nu doorkruist door de N3. In het adresboek van 1930 zie ik een caféhouder, W. Monster, Gr. Spuistraat *43. Op dat adres ook een A. en een J. Monster, beiden chauffeur. Vanaf m'n stoel vind ik verder niets t.a.v. een caféhouder genaamd Willem of W. Monster, wat uiteraard niet wilt zeggen dat er verder niets meer is terug te vinden. Behalve dan dat in een krant van 1932 een advertentie staat betreffende een publieke verkoping van het café genaamd "HALFWEG", met schuur en erf met diverse daarnaast gelegen percelen bouwterrein, boomgaard en uitmuntend tuinland onder Dubbeldam aan de Rijksstraatweg van Dordrecht naar Willemsdorp. E No 287 samen groot 78a,25ca, etc, etc. Willem Monster is een veel voorkomende naam maar niet in combinatie met caféhouder.
