Dat bedrijfspand (met verspringende ramen!) zie je o.a. terug op 555_12226, 555_12227, 555_12252 en 552_315889.
Misschien ligt het voor de hand aan het Beverwijcksplein en het Oranjepark te denken, waar een sierhekwerk zoals hier, ruim aanwezig was. Maar ik denk dat beiden afvallen. De foto is tamelijk slecht, toch zie je links een gevel met, vanaf de 1e etage, een partij ramen die trapsgewijs (per 2?) in hoogte stijgen, i.i.g. vanaf de onderkant van het raam. Herinnert iemand zich zo'n gevel? Geheel rechts op de achtergrond is de bebouwing hoog. Rechts op de voorgrond staat een boom op de hoek van de straat/plantsoen met een sierhekwerk ervoor. Rechts van het linker op paal gestoken ornament staat ook een boom. Ook tussen de genoemde bomen op de achtergrond zie ik bomen. De lantaarnpaal op de hoek van de straat lijkt ook opgetuigd te zijn, maar er staat een verlicht ornament recht achter. De straat op de voorgrond komt uit op een met kinderhoofdjes beklede weg/straat. 's Avonds, op 23-9-1930 was de opening van de lichtweek, aanleiding was de opening van de vernieuwde zeehaven. Er werd die avond een toerrit georganiseerd met twee bussen vol met genodigden gevolgd door een gedeelte pers in een taxi. De rit was zo gepland dat je zo'n beetje alles te zien kreeg. Ik vis even wat genoemde plaatsen tijdens die rit uit het krantenartikel van 24-9-1930 met wat steekwoordenover het gegeven commentaar. Misschien brengt ons dat wat dichter bij het antwoord op de "waar-vraag" van deze afbeelding. Stadhuis, Grote Kerksbuurt (sober verlicht), Grote Kerk (32 schijnwerpers), Zwijndrechtse veer (baldakijns/vlaggen), de veerboten zelf, Chr. Kweekschool aan het Veerplein, Voorstraatshaven, Voorstraat (tonnenstelsel, wat overdag boerenkermisachtig overkwam), Spuistraat, Lombardstraat (in Spuistraatstijl), Visbrug (masten/vlaggen), Standbeeld J&C de Witt, Visstraat/Bagijnhof (maakten geen indruk, het geheel op afstand wél), Raamstraat, Sarisgang, Johan de Wittbrug, Johan de Wittstraat, Stationsplein, (laatste drie een hoogstandje), Ponsen, 't Paviljoen, Burgemeesterswoning aan de Dubbeldamseweg (balkonverlichting) , Toulonselaan (woning archivaris en één van de hofjes aan de T.laan), Reeweg (Sober), Vrieseweg (indirecte en moderne verl.), stukje Singel donker, Kunstmin, St. Jorisweg (nog mooier dan Vrieseweg), Kromhout (Zepp? en tuintje t.o. Weeshuis), Vrieseplein (rommelig en niets bijz.), Johan de Wittbrug ( gezien vanaf de St. Jorisbrug), Stoofstraat, Kolfstraat, Nieuwstraat (alleraardigst), Steegoversloot (verrassende lampions), terug Voorstraat, Riedijk, Torenstraat (erepoort met "Hulde aan Zeehaven exploitatie", Papendrechtse veer (baldakijns) en ook hier waren de ponten als vuurschepen, Merwekade (lichtzuilen nog niet helemaal klaar), Groothoofdspoort (wonder van pracht), Wijnstraat (gebouw Holland), Scheffersplein (Arie), V&D, Bahlman, Magazijn van de firma Stad (De Blauwe Pui, lees ook: http://www.stolpersteine-dordrecht.nl/het_voorbije_joodse_dordrecht_de_herontdekte_brief.html ), Telefoonkantoor, Groenmarkt, Prinsenstraat (te veel aan licht), De Hoogt (uitbundig), Woning S.M. (zelfde ornamenten als die op de Vrieseweg en St. Jorisweg). Deze route was voornamelijk gericht op die plekken in de stad daar waar het zogenaamde Philipsplan was toegepast. Straten zoals de Kromme Elleboog werden niet bezocht alhoewel buurtbewoners er toch iets moois van wisten te maken maar niet de schittering van het Philipsplan had.
