Links het brekergebouw dat in het kolenpark stond. In nov 1981 werd dit gebouw afgebroken en het jaar daarop volgde de CM 1 en 2 met de vier schoorstenen die op 24 nov 1984 werden opgeblazen. Verder zijn de spoorrails te zien van het spoorlijntje over de Staart waarvan ten tijde van deze foto het eindpunt even verderop lag. Rond 1960 werd het lijntje doorgetrokken naar Dupont. In 1972 werden de rails over de Merwedestraat verwijderd.
