Mag ik vragen wie uw aangetrouwde neef is? mvg, Jaap Zonruiter
dordtenazoeker.nl leert ons dat de heer Jan van der Pas op 7-07-1952 Reeweg O 78B verliet om zijn intrek te nemen op de Weeskinderendijk 5. Op 23-03-1981 verliet hij de woning en vertrok via de Moerdijkbrug het eiland. Op 20-05-1981 trok Wilhelmus H.J.A. van Duren op de Blekersdijk 40 de deur achter zich dicht om vervolgens op de Weeskinderendijk 5 zijn intrek te nemen. De aankoop van het pand op 15 december 1980 door Van Duren sluit hier allemaal mooi op aan. Dus je zal tegenover de heer Jan van der Pas hebben gezeten Ad.
Waarom: Het zag er toen niet zo uit als op de foto (huidige staat). Er stond namelijk ook een benzinepomp voor de deur. Mijn vader werkte er en mijn moeder paste op de 3 zonen van de fam van de Pas. En als mijn moeder aan het werk was paste mevr. van de Pas op ons, mijn zus en mij. Ik en geboren op nummer 9 dat is op de foto de linkerkant en was de wasplaats, staat nu de witte Datsun voor. De garage was nummer 5 het woonhuis boven in het midden nummer 7.
Op de foto zit Nissan-dealer Van Duren er al weer in.
