De tekst op de foto is niet geheel juist, het betreft hier namelijk de Nieuwe Boezemkade. De oorspronkelijke Boezemkade werd Jan Vethlaan genoemd en later de Frans Lebretlaan. Toen werd ook de Frans LebretSTRAAT hernoemd in Koldeweystraat. Waar we hier vanaf de Zuidendijk dus naar kijken werd in eerste instantie de Nieuwe Boezemkade genoemd en liep door tot de oorspronkelijke Boezemkade. De uitgegraven grond voor de waterpartijen is gebruikt voor het dempen van de Vuile Vliet. Met het hernoemen van de Jan Verthlaan in de Frans Lebretlaan werd ook de Nieuwe Boezemkade in Jan Vethkade hernoemd, het overige deel, vanaf de Frans Lebretlaan, wat later tot ontwikkeling kwam, in Vioattakade. Eigenlijk is het nog steeds verwarrend maar het geld en de overtuigingskracht van de zoon van Frans Lebret zorgde ervoor dat de in 1932 overeengekomen straatnamen in 1937 weer gewijzigd werden.
