Geachte heer Waalboer, Dit is inderdaad de voormalige haven in H.I.Ambacht,hartelijk dank voor de leuke foto. Deze foto is nog van voor de oprichting van de WSV- H.I. Ambacht, ik vermoed rond 1977. Wij betaalde liggeld bij de Slagerij de Groot en konden ook met de scheepjes daar op de kant voor onderhoud. De vereniging is in 1979 opgericht , dit omdat het voorste gedeelte van de oude haven kwam te vervallen en ons de ligplaatsen werden opgezegd. Dit had te maken met een dam in de haven (delta werken) . Daardoor bleef er enkel het gedeelte over wat evenwijdig ligt met Alblasserdamsebrug , waarvoor we toen toestemming kregen voor de huidige jachthaven. Hopende u voldoende te hebben geïnformeerd.
