Werd in mei 1914 te koop aangeboden. Toch vreemd om te lezen in de Dordrechtsche Courant van 18-7-1914: "BURGEMEESTER en WETHOUDERS van DORDRECHT, brengen ter openbare kennis, dat bij hen is ingekomen een verzoek om verlof tot den verkoop van alcoholhoudenden drank anderen dan sterkendrank van: De Vereeniging „Afdeeling Dordrecht van den Volksbond tegen drankmisbruik”, voor het pand aan het Groothoofd nr. 14. Binnen twee weken na heden, kan ieder tegen het verleenen van het verlof schriftelijk bezwaar inbrengen. Dordrecht, 18 Juli 1914." Grondel is in verschillende adresboeken te herleiden naar Groothoofd 10 vanaf 1904.
