Mijn vader was Clement (Cock) van Pelt. De eerste paal van de zaak is geslagen op 1 september 1965. De opening van de zaak was op 26 mei 1966.
Bij het zien van 554_33051 wist ik meteen weer hoe het nu precies zat. (Had ik beter eerst kunnen doen).
Links de achterzijde van nog af te breken winkelpanden in de Vriesestraat, gelegen tussen de Dwarsgang en de Sarisgang, westzijde. Op het oude pand van Buys een verwijzing naar de nieuwbouw van Buys. Tegenwoordig eet men er volgens Street View sushi.
