Het wordt dan toch eens tijd Wim dat ik m'n grijze massa eens ga resetten :) Ik ben overigens wel onder de indruk hoe snel je de drie afbeeldingen wist te vinden/koppelen aan deze. Zou het de Eemhaven kunnen zijn waar medio jaren zestig toch een hoop moest gebeuren t.a.v. het container-gebeuren wat toen zijn aanvang (ca '67) kreeg, of zou de foto ouder zijn? Vanwege het talud zou je zeggen dat er hier sprake is van een dam.
De fotonummers 623_5543, 5544 en 5545 vormen één geheel. Met behulp van photoshop is te zien bij het donkerder maken van de foto's dat we te maken hebben met een grotere haven dan onze Wilhelminahaven. Zie meer zeeschepen en mogelijk ook een scheepswerf. (kranen aan de wal?). Ook de boeien zijn qua vorm niet geheel gelijk aan die in Dordt gebruikelijke. Denk dat we met deze foto's in de Waalhaven in Rotterdam zijn beland. De stoomboot op foto 5545 met de letters FS (Frans Swarttouw) in de schoorsteen zou ook in die richting kunnen wijzen.
Met de Jacobsladder bedoel ik niet de lopende band van 30 meter die het zand de wal opdraait, maar de installatie die u hier achterin het ruim ziet en zich via rails op de dennenboom (SB&BB) verplaatst. Bron: kustvaartforum
Door gebrek aan opvolging is het bedrijf verkocht aan Oosterwijk. Ik meen dat deze foto eerder, maar dan zonder opdruk dacht ik, voorbij is gekomen en dat dhr. Wim S. er een locatie aan wist te koppelen. Ik kan dat niet meer terug vinden.
