Bij de vorige Eerste Tolstraat foto (737_1110), noemde ik al 2 luchtfoto's waar dat juist zo mooi zichtbaar is, maar ook op deze foto zichtbaar. Bovendien ook op het kaartje wat je ter verduidelijking aangaf, (552_130667, waar de kaart van 1958 voor dat gebied ook op gebaseerd is) is de straat ---voor ons gemak ;) --- in het groen aangegeven. Vooral die kleuren-luchtfoto is erg duidelijk. Je ziet dat Garage de Mijl daar tussenin, in de U dus, gebouwd is. Uiteindelijk viel het oostelijke deel van de Eerste Tolstraat, inclusief de bebouwing (737_1110) ten prooi aan de reconstructie van de Mijlweg en indirect de A16. Op de kleurenfoto zie je die langste rij woningen, dat zijn de woningen aan de westkant die er het langst hebben gestaan. Daar ten noordoosten van zie je het rijtje staan van de oostkant, de woningen dus zichtbaar op 737_1110. Ik hoop dat het nu duidelijker is?
Hier kan je goed zien hoe deze straat rondliep in een U naar de Nijverheidstraat terug. Het rijtje huizen van 737_1110 stond aan dat deel van de straat wat hier linksonder verdwijnt.
