en de plaatsaanduiding zoals die door de jongens en meisjes van het R.A.D. bij annotatie letterlijk breeduit gemeten wordt van Spuiweg tot Blekersdijk. Nu ik mezelf iets meer tijd geef wat beter naar het kaartje te kijken zie ik nu ook wel dat het mogelijk niet klopt. Zo was het gebied tussen de huidige Johan de Wittstraat en de Blekersdijk voor het grootste deel toebedeeld aan "Villa Maria". (De Groot maar eerder al Willemszen) Het gebied tussen de huidige Johan de Wittstraat en Beverwijckstraat werd dan "Stads Weide" dan wel "Stads Weilanden"genoemd Het links tot aan de Spuiweg resterende deel, opgesplitst in twee gelijke delen waarvan het rechter deel "Exercitie Veld" "Schuttersweide" maar ook al eens "Veld van Mars" werd genoemd. Van het linker deel zal ik maar aannemen dat het om weilanden ging. Op de afbeelding staan de toeschouwers aan het hek op de nog éénzijdig bebouwde Koninginnestraat, over de tuinen heen ligt de Aert de Gelderstraat. Links de roomse kerk en rechts verzekeringsmaatschappij Dordrecht-Nederland aan de Bellevuestraat. Over de Aert de Gelderstraat heen de Lipsfabriek.
De aangegeven wegen omsluiten de "Stads Weide" en niet de "Watermolenweide" of "Molen Weide".
