Zicht vanuit de fotograaf is naar de Papendrechtse brug gericht.Dus naar het oosten. Deze bom lag in de boezem onder een huis. Was destijds afgeworpen door de geallieerden om enkele watervliegtuigen van de Duitsers uit te schakelen die achter de dijk in de rivier lagen. Toen men de wijk Boezem ging slopen in de jaren 70, heeft iemand op tijd de slopers gewaarschuwt over de aanwezigheid van de bom. Volgens de overlevering was deze door de schoorsteen gevlogen en bleek gelukkig een blindganger. Is door de EOD op het zand tot ontploffing gebracht.
