Zie 552_325998, 551_70790+552_331824. De op Eerste Kerstdag 1861 geboren Karel Anthonie Mulders had daar een schildersbedrijf. In juni 1889 werd het te koop aangeboden (Godfried Schalckensingel, tegenover Kunstmin, get. 70, Kad. Sectie C No. 1538, groot 74 C) In 1893 werd het omgenummerd van 70 naar 72. De handel in koloniale waren zal hoogst waarschijnlijk door zijn vrouw (Johanna Jonkman, geboren op 13 november 1858 te Axel en met wie hij op 1-8-1889 in het huwelijk trad,) gedreven zijn. Zij zullen het hoogst waarschijnlijk zijn die we hier voor de winkel zien staan. Het adresboek van 1893 laat ook nog eens weten dat de goeie man ook commandeur was van de Brandkring G endat de brandspuit stond opgesteld in het spuithuis aan de Noordendijk. Maar let op! De sleutel ligt bij J. E. Monté, Noordendljk 58. Zijn vrouw Johanna Jonkman overleed op 53 jarige leeftijd op 19-4-1912. Karel Anthonie Mulders (52) huwde op 9-10-1914 de Delftse Francisca Maria Langen (33). Intussen woonde hij in de Bagijnestraat 15 rood. Karel Anthonie Mulders stierf 6 jaar na zijn tweede huwelijk op 10-2-1920, hij werd 58 jaar.
