Gerrit Jan Bos, een (verre)neef, is als aannemer van publieke werken firmant en medeoprichter van de firma Kraaijeveld en Van Noordenne in 1910, toen de grondslag gelegd werd voor BOKA. Bij de keuze van een N.V. was hij daar directeur en lid RvB. De vader van zijn eerste vrouw was firmant bij baggermik K.L. Kalis Wzn en Co. (uit: 'Aan het water, de Sliedrechtse familie Bos', G. Meijer; R'dam 1967
Waarschijnlijk is het dit brugdeel dat te zien is op afbeelding 556_1663 (goed kijken!), terwijl het in de haven van de firma Bos (waar later scheepswerf De Biesbosch zou komen) ligt te wachten op hergebruik.
