Woensdag 13 oktober 1897 om precies te zijn.
Haar vader, commandant bij het Corps Pontonniers, kwam ten gevolge van een noodlottig ongeval in oktober 1997 te overlijden. (Van zijn paard gevallen). Na haar huwelijk (1904) met Dr. Huibert Willem van Rhijn woonde Top Naeff samen met haar man aanvankelijk in de Cornelis van Beverenstraat 3. Haar moeder was inmiddels hertrouwd met ene Nicolaas Jan Erzeij en zij woonden op de Johan de Wittstraat 25. In 1929 overleed Erzeij op 78 jarige leeftijd. Ik denk dat niet lang daarna het echtpaar Van Rhijn de Cornelis van Beverenstraat verruilde voor de Johan de Wittstraat 25 en zij gezellig bij moeders gingen wonen. In 1941 stak moeders schuin over naar Huize st. Anna, kwam eind 1942 weer terug en overleed het jaar er op in de J. Wittstraat 25. In 1952 verhuisde Top Naeff met haar man naar de Noordhoveweg 10. Dit was voor haar echter van korte duur want in 1953 kwam zij te overlijden.
