Na ca. 1650 is dit huisje ( vlg boek: De grote- of O.L.V kerk van Dordrecht geschreven door Dr. T.W. Jensma / Ad Molendijk blz. 87 ) in gebruik genomen als vuurhuis waar de stovenserveersters de stoven van kooltjes vuur uit de vuurhaard voorzagen t.b.v.het zondagse kerkpubliek. Hier komt de naam stovenhuisje vandaan.Voor 1650 werd deze ruimte vlg. bovengenoemde boek gebruikt als kerkkantoor waar rekeningen en documenten van de kerk werden bewaard. ( zie zelfs de benaming in plattegrond op blz. 111.) Ik kan niet achterhalen in welke periode,maar deze functie lijkt mij moeilijk samengaan met de functie van korenmetershuisje of zou dit volgens jou wel kunnen?
