Kooijman op de Albert Cuypsingel Singel 175, nu 289/291. =================================================================== De rijwielhandelaar C. Kooijman introduceerde voor Dordrecht in augustus 1932 de eerste elektrische fiets die door Philips en rijwielfabrikanten in productie was genomen. =================================================================== ("De electrische energie zal geleverd worden door een accu -— Varta-accumulatoren, motoren van Emi, Utrecht. De fiets zal een snelheid kunnen bereiken van 22 K.M. per uur en op de accu kan 80 K.M. worden afgelegd. Thuis zal men de accu met behulp van een gewone gelijkrichter kunnen bijvullen. De levering van den gelijkrichter zal bij den prijs van het rijwiel inbegrepen zijn. De prijs zal minimaal f 230 zijn. Dit is méér dan de rijwielen met lichten motor kosten. De electrische fiets krijgt haar accu’s laag tusschen trappers en voorwiel gemonteerd den motor even beneden het zadel. De voortbeweging geschiedt door ketting-overbrenging op het achterwiel.Men bedient den motor d.m.v. draaibare handvatten van het stuur; er zijn geen versnellingen.
