Villa Maria, singel 165 werd gekocht door H. Vriesendorp die er 'Benvenuta' op liet bouwen. Adres werd Johan de wittstraat 12. Na het overlijden van Henri Vriesendorp werd het verhuurd t.g.v. burgemeester P.L. de Gaay-Fortman. Bij verschillende foto's op de beeldbank staat beschreven dat burgemeester P.L. de G-F, daar zijn hele ambtsperiode heeft gewoond, klopt niet. Zijn eerste ambtswoning was Dubbeldamseweg 38. Henri Vriesendorp, was oud voorzitter der D.F.C. en voorzitter Dordr. Lawn tennis club las ik nog ergens. Deze houthandelaar, Henri Vriesendorp was de bewoner van 'Benvenuta' op de Johan de Wittstraat 12.
