================================================================== De Dordrechtsche Courant, 1920-10-16; p. 7 ================================================================== Blijkens proces verbaal 8 October 1920 door den ondergeteekenden Notaris resideerende te Dordrecht opgemaakt, is met ingang van 11 Juni 1920 aan de Heeren H. C. en J. F. J. WYERS op hun verzoek eervol ontslag verleend als beheerende vennooten der, Commanditaire Vennootschap op aandeelen onder de firma „H. C. WYERS & C0.” gevestigd te Dordrecht en is vanaf dien datum in hun plaats tot eenig beheer en den aansprakelijk vennoot dier vennootschap benoemd de Heer LOUIS P.A. J. Wyers, industrieel, wonende te Dordrecht, die bedoelde zaak vanaf 11 Juni 1920 onder dezelfde firma zal voortzetten, buiten eenige aansprakelijkheid van de beide uitgetreden firmanten. B. =================================================================== J. F. J. WIJERS. † In den nacht van Dinsdag op Woensdag j.l. is onze oud-stadgenoot de heer J. F. J. Wijers door een noodlottig ongeval om het leven gekomen. De heer Wijers, die sedert 1920 te Uccle bij Brussel woonachtig is. was per auto op weg naar Roermond. Op den Winteralierberg bij Sittard is hij vermoedelijk met een boom in botsing gekomen, waardoor hij door de voorruit geslagen is. In zwaargewonden toestand werd hij aangetroffen terwijl de lichten van de auto nog brandden en de motor nog werkte. Naar het gasthuis te Sittard overgebracht, is hij kort daarna overleden. De heer Wijers trad van 1915 tot 1920 hier ter stede op als agent consulaire van Frankrijk en was voor de meeste Dordtenaren lang geen onbekende persoonlijkheid. =================================================================== In de overlijdensadvertentie in de Dordrechtsche Courant van 1931-02-12; p. 8, wordt hij Johan François Joseph genoemd i.p.v. Johannes François Joseph. =================================================================== 4-7-1931 werd het 100 jarige bestaan van de firma gevierd maar ook het 25 jarige jubileum van de huidige directeur van dat moment, Louis P. A. J. Wyers. Dus op 3 juli was Louis al 25 jaar directeur van de firma. Dus Lawrence uw samenvatting betreffende Johan François Joseph Wyers klopt niet helemaal.
